So tonight I attended a talk at URI Edwards Auditorium by Mike Reiss, a writer of The Simpsons. Suffice it to say, it was quite nice.

Mr Reiss told of some of the times he had with the show, as well as some of his current and other past projects. He still writes for it. He has won four Emmys and has been with the show for 17 years.

His style was quite funny, as one might expect. He is also Jewish.

The audience was shown a few clips, some from The Simpsons, some from another show of his, The Critic, and some from yet another show, Queer Duck, whose movie was released last July. They were all pretty damn good. He is currently working on The Simpsons Movie, of which he could not really go into detail, except that “it will be good.”

All in all it was a pretty good presentation. That’s all. Dan out.
